Smart Corners does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal information, usage data, analytics, or diagnostics. The app runs entirely on your Mac and never communicates with any server.

2. Local Storage Only

Your corner assignments and app preferences are stored exclusively on your device as a plain JSON file within the app's local Application Support directory. No data is ever uploaded, synced to a cloud service, or accessible by the developer.

3. Accessibility Permission

Smart Corners requests Accessibility access solely to monitor cursor position system-wide. This permission is required for the app's core function — detecting when your cursor enters a screen corner. The app does not use this permission to read, record, or transmit any other information about your screen, keystrokes, or activity.

4. No Network Access

Smart Corners does not make any network requests. No data enters or leaves your machine through the app. You can verify this with any network monitoring tool.

5. App Store Distribution

Smart Corners is distributed exclusively through the Mac App Store and is subject to Apple's sandboxing and review requirements. The App Store may collect information according to Apple's own privacy policy. Smart Corners itself collects nothing.

6. No Third-Party Services

Smart Corners does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, crash reporting, or tracking services. There are no SDKs, no frameworks, and no external dependencies that collect or transmit data.

7. Changes to This Policy

If this privacy policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page. Since Smart Corners collects no data, changes to this policy will not affect data already collected — because none exists.
